MacArthur joined the Just Action Racial Equity Collaborative, a coalition of organizations committed to the ongoing racial justice work necessary to build more equitable systems and structures in Chicago. It is a commitment of nearly 150 individuals and organizations to reimagine civic power in whose narratives are shared, how money flows, and how policy is shaped and implemented. The collaborative will acknowledge the history of systemic racism, shift power to historically marginalized groups, and embrace accountability.
