Established in 2011, Tiger Eye Social Foundation is a Ghana-based nonprofit specializing in investigative reporting on corruption in sub-Saharan Africa. Led by international award-winning Ghanaian undercover journalists and reporters, Tiger Eye conducts daring investigations to expose entrenched practices in public sectors throughout the region and puts pressure on government to act. This award assists Tiger Eye to strengthen investigative capacity of the media in Nigeria in order to improve ongoing anti-corruption efforts. Tiger Eye is training and mentoring journalists in investigative techniques, supporting field investigations on corruption, and mobilizing pressure for corrective action within government. The project contributes to expanding the network of investigative journalists and promoting the culture of investigative work in Nigeria's media. Tiger Eye Social Foundation is coordinating with other Foundation grantees to implement the project.
