    BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — With offices in New York and Nigeria, Reboot is a social impact firm dedicated to inclusive development and accountable governance. The organization works with governments, foundations, and civil society to achieve their missions. With this award, Reboot is providing technical assistance and coordination support to journalism and media organizations in Nigeria, including Foundation grantees. The organization is also carrying out research on the media landscape; supporting journalism and media organizations to develop and test sustainable business models; and strengthening investigative and data-driven journalism skills. The project contributes to expanding the network of investigative journalists, promoting the culture of investigative work in Nigeria’s media, and strengthening the capacity of media organizations. Reboot works closely with other Foundation grantees to implement the project.

The MacArthur Foundation awarded Reboot $400,000 between 1978 and 2017.
