    NEW YORK, NEW YORK — Need to Know is a weekly news and public affairs program produced by WNET, the public television station in New York City. It is broadcast nationally Friday nights on PBS. Through investigative reports and explanatory journalism, Need to Know reports on how policies made in Washington affect the lives of people around the United States. The program also reports on local innovations with the potential to be scaled up. Need to Know’s investigative reporting has been used by policymakers to demonstrate the necessity of reforms.

    NEW YORK, NEW YORK — WNET.ORG, a public television station in New York, and one of the largest producing stations in the Public Broadcasting System, is serving as the presenting station for Moyers & Company, a new public affairs program on PBS hosted by Bill Moyers. This grant will help support the production and distribution of Moyers & Company, a weekly hour-long program of interviews where Bill Moyers and guests will discuss the ideas that shape, sustain and challenge our culture and democracy.
