Citizens’ Climate Education empowers ordinary citizens to educate legislators, the media, and the general public about climate change and climate change solutions such as an approach to allocate effectively the cost of carbon pollution within the economy. This award enables Citizens’ Climate to train and support a volunteer base that has doubled or tripled in each of the past five years, thus building a vocal constituency for the national climate action needed to speed the transition toward a low-carbon future.
