Audience Architects, which began in 2006, promotes and supports the development of Chicago’s nonprofit dance companies. It is best known for its audience development website, SeeChicagoDance.com, which includes upcoming dance events, special discounts on tickets to company shows, dance class information, and articles related to dance companies. Audience Architects also offers a number of programs to the dance community, focusing on professional development and creating conversation between Chicago’s many dance companies. This grant will provide two additional years of general operating support as Audience Architects strengthens its revenue models.
