Alliance of Local Service Organizations (ALSO) provides local and national programming focused on gun violence, gender-based violence, youth engagement, and policy and systems change. It provides street-level violence interruption outreach on Chicago's northwest side; re-entry resources and support for those returning from custody; community building activities; job training for youth; and training and technical assistance to increase the effectiveness of local and national organizations and agencies in responding to violence-related issues.
