WASHINGTON, D.C. — Founded in 1958, the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) is a leading authority on global security, political risk, and military conflict. This project examines whether and to what extent Iran’s missiles meet the criterion specified in United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231, which calls on Iran to refrain from any activity related to ballistic missiles that are designed to be capable of carrying nuclear weapons.
