National Law University, Delhi, Centre for Communication Governance

The Centre for Communication Governance at National Law University, Delhi, is the only university-based law and policy research center in India working on information policy. It seeks to embed human rights and good governance within communication policy at the national and global levels. The award supports the organization’s research and policy analysis focused on global internet governance and matters related to free speech, privacy and security in the digital environment.

The Centre for Communication Governance (CCG), a research centre housed within the National Law University-Delhi, will conduct research on issues related to the state of Internet governance in India and internationally , including the collection, storage, and use of big data in India and the impact of domestic laws that affect freedom of speech and expression.
