    CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University is an independent cultural institution that offers original theater, dance, and music programming and is active in arts education. More than 250,000 patrons a year attend more than 250 shows at the Auditorium Theatre each year. The Theatre’s original artistic productions, like its annual musical, "Too Hot to Handel: The Jazz-Gospel Messiah," build new collaborations, highlight local talent, and interest diverse audiences in the arts. Ten thousand young people and teachers participate in a wide variety of education programs offered throughout the year.
