The Truth About Trees is designed to foster deep appreciation and understanding of trees and their important relationships to both humans and the environment. The Truth About Trees is produced and directed by Ross Spears for the James Agee Film Project.

The MacArthur Foundation awarded James Agee Film Project $100,000 between 1978 and 2017.
