Founded in 2007, the Youth Peace Center of Roseland offers mentoring and employment training to youth from this far south side Chicago community. Its mission is to reduce violence in the Roseland neighborhood by inspiring youth to reach their full potential at school, work, and in their community. With this institutional support award, the Youth Peace Center upgrades technology and redesigns its office space to improve and expand its programs. It also develops a strategic plan.
