Centre for Policy Research

New Delhi, India

Centre for Policy Research was awarded $1,230,000 between 2008 and 2016, including 2 grants in International Peace & Security and Climate Solutions.

2016 • 3 years • Climate Solutions

The Centre for Policy Research is an independent, nonpartisan research institute and think tank. Its mission is to undertake research that contributes to a more robust public discourse about the structures and processes that shape life in India. Consistent with this mission, this project helps to shape the agenda for policymaking in the areas of climate, energy and environment, and particularly the linkages across them. While Indian policymaking in these areas suffers from implementation challenges, they are often rooted in the absence of a larger vision that is reasoned, well argued, empirically supported, and publicly embraced. The project contributes to the development of a long-term, strategic vision for climate and energy futures in the context of India's development challenges.

2008 • 3 years • International Peace & Security
