National Korean American Service and Education Consortium

The Black Youth Project 100 Education Fund, a project of the National Korean American Service and Education Consortium, works to secure racial and economic justice. As a member of the national Movement for Black Lives, the Black Youth Project supports activists ages 18-35 who seek equality and justice for Black Americans and others who suffer discrimination based on race, gender, immigration status, or sexual identity. Its activists are particularly focused on the issues of police abuse, mass incarceration, poverty, and unemployment. With a chapter-based model rooted in Chicago, the Black Youth Project 100 mobilizes civic engagement through grassroots outreach, community building, policy development, and civil disobedience. Institutional support to the Black Youth Project 100 enables it to develop and implement a strategic plan, develop a base of individual donors, and train a full-time organizing fellow to work in Chicago.
