Founded in 1876, the YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago (YWCA) is a social enterprise committed to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. The YWCA provides a spectrum of services to the most marginalized women, children and families throughout Chicago and the surrounding counties, serving nearly 100,000 people each year. This X-Grant supports the YWCA to host a series of Chicagoland focus groups on the impact of changes to federal nutrition and health programs, and to analyze the resulting data.
