Vivery Community

The Vivery Community is a nonprofit organization created by the Thierer Family Foundation to provide access to fresh and healthy food to Chicagoans. It manages a network of food banks and pantries that use a digital platform to centralize information and democratize access to food. With this X-Grant, the Vivery Community conducts a research project to assess the impact of a pilot project in 2023 that provided food to disabled residents of the neighborhood of Austin.
