The University College London’s Bartlett Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA) is dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of urban problems with a strong emphasis on the methods of computation, analysis, and information visualization. This grant supports a two-part effort to build applicable urban informatics--focused on the high-quality translation of digital tools and technologies to practical applications that inform urban planning and development. This interdisciplinary applied research collaboration aims to identify new ways to apply data and information technologies to solve urban problems.
