The Foundation for City College

The Foundation for City College, founded in 2019 and based in New York, New York, provides access to educational and research excellence, particularly to students who might not otherwise attend a senior college. The Foundation for City College accepts funds on behalf of the City College. Two schools at the City University of New York (CUNY) – the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership at City College of New York and the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies – have together have created a national initiative, called Leadership for Democracy and Social Change, to recruit, develop, and connect diverse leaders for social change who can imagine and implement visionary solutions for the enormous challenges being faced in the 21st century. The grant provides flexible support to the Leadership for Democracy and Social Change initiative.
