The Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (PUJ) is a Jesuit university founded in 1632. In July 2014, the PUJ will host the 15th biennial conference of the International Association for the Study of Forced Migration (IASFM). The recommended grant will provide partial support for the IASFM conference, which will provide a platform for academics, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss crisis migration and the prospects for expanding international protections for vulnerable migrants. Grant funds will be used for travel, accommodations, and meals for IASFM delegates.
