The Centre for Communication Governance (CCG) at National Law University Delhi studies the societal impact of technology, focusing on issues such as constitutional rights, the rule of law, democratic norms, and both individual and collective harms. It also works to address inequality in the digital age. CCG has a three-pronged approach to its work: (1) academic and policy research, (2) policy inputs, and (3) capacity building of diverse stakeholders, especially young professionals, government, and the judiciary. CCG’s core areas of focus include artificial intelligence governance, privacy and data governance, and platform governance. The award provides flexible support to CCG.
