Movement Strategy Center

Movement Strategy Center, founded in 2001 and based in Oakland, CA, is a movement support organization whose mission is to cultivate the transformative power necessary to accelerate a Just Transition. The Equitable Intermediary Fund, a fund at Movement Strategy Center, is a peer learning space to identify core practices, and disseminate learnings and equity-centered tools to the wider philanthropic sector, which seeks to increase equity within the nonprofit sector and beyond by shifting power from the traditional philanthropic sector to communities. This grant provides flexible support to the Equitable Intermediary Fund for its core activities.
