Mississippi Journalism and Education Group

The Mississippi Journalism and Education Group is the nonprofit publisher of Mississippi Free Press (MFP), a nonprofit newsroom that conducts original reporting on root causes and systemic issues for the people of Mississippi. Through in-depth accountability reporting and people-centered stories, MFP aims to provide Mississippians with access to reliable and accurate news and information that is relevant and consequential for their lives. This grant supports developing and implementing a targeted donor engagement strategy that integrates with MFP’s programs.
