Institute for Strategic Dialogue

The Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) is an independent, global nonprofit think tank dedicated to safeguarding democracy and fortifying human rights, reversing the rising global tide of political violence and polarization, extremism, and pervasive mis- and disinformation, hyper-charged by social media platforms and generative AI. ISD seeks global solutions to mitigate these issues through innovative digital research, education, training, briefings, and digital interventions, and policy development. They envision a world where communities are empowered, resilient, and equipped to counter both online and offline threats to democracy and human rights.
