Indian Point Film Productions will produce Indian Point, a documentary directed by Ivy Meeropol that follows the continued operation of a nuclear power plant just north of New York City where a contentious debate over the safety of the facility is inflamed by the disastrous triple meltdown at Japan's Fukushima Daiichi plant. In response, the powerful nuclear industry fights back, restricting even the chairman of the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission from improving safety at home.
