$200,000

The Impact Capital Managers Institute is a 501(c)(3) organization affiliated with the ICM membership association, a 501(c)(6) network of leading private capital impact funds. The Institute’s core mission is to grow and shape the impact investing field with integrity and authenticity, complementing the association’s focus on advancing member performance. The Institute operates at the intersection of research, field-building, and talent development. It produces public research reports annually, often in collaboration with strategic partners to advance knowledge, establish field norms, and influence practice across the impact investing ecosystem. In addition to research, the Institute supports field-building initiatives, including open-source frameworks and tools such as the Common Impact Due Diligence Questionnaire, developed with partners to standardize practices, reduce inefficiencies, and improve comparability across funds. The Institute also plays a key role in convening stakeholders and strengthening networks across the impact investing ecosystem, helping to build a more coordinated, transparent, and effective market. Overall, it serves as a critical intermediary, bridging investors, practitioners, and emerging talent while advancing standards, transparency, and collaboration across the impact investing field. This grant would provide flexible general operating support to advance these core organizational priorities.
