$300,000

Harvard University’s Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study supports research across all disciplines through affiliated fellows and advisory councils. This grant supports the Boston Area Research Initiative (BARI), an interdisciplinary, interuniversity partnership that produces original urban research on the leading edge of social science and public policy. BARI will use this grant to conduct applied research projects in the Boston region; run a fellowship and lecture series, and maintain a website with information resources that together aim to increase connections between academics, policymakers, and practitioners to improve the functions of government.
