Endeleo Institute

Founded in 2011, The Endeleo Institute Inc. is a nonprofit organization that incorporates three longstanding Trinity United Church of Christ outreach efforts in health, education, and community development. The Endeleo Institute supports the Washington Heights neighborhood of Chicago and surrounding communities by repurposing existing assets and building on community-informed plans to improve residents' health, education, and economic outcomes. With this renewal award, the Endeleo Institute continues the 95th Street Commercial Corridor Project, a series of place-based activities intended to spur economic development, attract new employment opportunities, and increase health-related indicators for Washington Heights.
