Democracy Forward Foundation (DFF) is a 501(c)(3) public charity that uses the law to build collective power in service of a bold and vibrant democracy for all people. DFF advances public-interest litigation in defense of constitutional democracy, partners with organizations standing up for the rule of law, and supports coalitions that build common cause across sectors. This grant provides project support for Civil Service Strong, a national, collaborative effort committed to supporting civil servants.

Democracy Forward Foundation is a national legal organization that advances democracy and social progress through litigation, policy and public education, and regulatory engagement. Its initiative NGO Solidarity Network (the Network) coordinates, resources and empowers NGOs in the face of mounting threats to civil society. The Network coordinates and connects hundreds of local, state and federal NGOs with high-quality legal, financial, security and communications strategies and resources. It ensures NGOs have the tools they need to remain mission-focused, and stand strong together. The award provides flexible support for the NGO Solidarity Network.
