Cousin Collective

Cousin Collective is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support and exhibition of experimental film. X-Grant funds will support convening costs associated with presenting the documentary film Powwow People through free screening events around North America.

COUSIN Collective is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and showcasing the work of Indigenous filmmakers working in experimental forms. It does this by providing grants for film projects and artist support, and creating opportunities to share this work with Indigenous and non-Indigenous audiences. This grant supports general operations and the intended outcomes are a stronger set of supports for Indigenous experimental filmmakers to create work that challenges conventions of storytelling, and reaches audiences, deepening their understanding.
