To support public education efforts on arms control in the Middle East and restructuring of the U.S. defense budget in light of the Gulf War.

To support programs on arms control, U.S.-Soviet relations, and women's outreach activities.

To evaluate present and potential contributions to public understanding of national and international security issues, and to explore new connecitons and interactions among constituencies (over three years).
