This is a new general operating award to Clean Air Task Force (CATF). CATF aims to accelerate the commercialization of low-carbon energy technologies to reach zero-carbon emissions by mid-century at an affordable price in both rich and poor countries. CATF advances technologies that are financially, socially, and environmentally sustainable and develops the supporting policies to achieve zero-emissions energy, waste, agricultural, industrial, and transportation systems by mid-century. This award provides flexible support to CATF’s six programs on low-carbon energy solutions, including advanced energy systems, advanced nuclear energy, bioenergy, decarbonizing fossil energy, reducing emissions of power plants, and reducing super pollutants.
