The Chinese American Service League (CASL) is a social service nonprofit agency in Chicago with 45 years of experience educating youth, caring for seniors, training the workforce, placing immigrants on the path to citizenship, and securing the Chinese American community’s financial well-being. This general operating support grant strengthens CASL’s operating budget as it leads a national effort called the Community Equity Research Center (CERC), a public health data clearinghouse for Asian American and Pacific Islander social service organizations.
The Chinese American Service League (CASL) is a social service nonprofit agency in Chicago with more than 40 years of experience educating youth, caring for seniors, training the workforce, placing immigrants on the path to citizenship, and securing the Chinese American community’s housing and financial well-being. This general operating support grant will strengthen CASL’s operating budget as it launches a national effort called the Community Equity Research Center (CERC), designed to become a public health data clearinghouse for Asian American and Pacific Islander social service organizations.
To support the administrative costs of a capital campaign.
To support organizing efforts to involve residents in community planning and development.
To support the design, establishment, and initial programs of the Family Learning and Resource Center (over three years).
To support the capital campaign to create a community center in Chinatown.
