Centre for Values in Leadership

Established in 2004, the Centre for Values in Leadership (CVL) is a not-for-profit organization with the goal of equipping young people with leadership skills to help them become effective, values-driven leaders catalyzing improvements to the quality of life in society. This award supports collaboration with the Leadership Enterprise for African Development on a three-pronged inclusive history project: a conversation on breaking the glass ceiling that promotes gender equality and inclusive participation by showcasing women who excelled in different fields in Nigeria; writing workshops, leading to the publication of two major works helping young people understand leadership in Nigeria; and a showcase of individuals who have contributed to public service through stellar leadership. This award advances gender equity and social inclusion and builds young people’s leadership skills.
