Cambridge in America promotes interest in and support for the University of Cambridge and its Colleges in the United States. The award supports the Cambridge Traceable AI Pipeline, which seeks to democratize access to high-quality evidence synthesis globally, ensuring that policymakers have access to the same caliber of research intelligence that can be adapted to their local needs and delivered at the speed needed in today's fast-paced world.
The University of Cambridge's Bennett Institute for Public Policy is committed to interdisciplinary academic and policy research into major challenges facing the world, and to high-quality teaching for the knowledge and skills required in public service. Its goal is to rethink public policy in an era of turbulence and inequality. The award supports the establishment of the Geopolitics & AI Project, a new initiative at the Bennett Institute that is dedicated to a rights-based approach to AI and geopolitics. The initiative will contribute towards field building with original research, publications and convenings, all with the aim of greater global cooperation and understanding when it comes to the impacts of new technology, particularly AI.
