Hope Consulting is a for-profit strategy consulting firm with practice areas that include philanthropic effectiveness, global health, and financial services. This grant supports an update of Hope Consulting’s Money for Good research series, which explores Americans’ charitable giving needs, attitudes, and behaviors. The research findings and recommendations generated by this project will provide useful information about various avenues of private capital potentially available for the impact investing sector, through mechanisms such as Donor Advised Funds, to a wide audience of stakeholders, including impact investors, grant seekers, and enterprises seeking capital that is unusually patient, low-cost, or risk tolerant.
