Branding Englewood

Established in 2019, Branding Englewood is a nonprofit organization that provides youth-focused mentoring and other programming, and produces community events for Englewood residents on Chicago’s South Side. With this X-Grant, Branding Englewood supports Fall Fest 5.0, a family-focused, multi-generational event featuring a pumpkin patch, carnival rides, and entertainment. The event raises awareness about breast cancer and domestic violence and connects residents to free education and treatment resources. This X-Grant also supports Miracle on 63rd Street, a holiday Winter Wonderland event that includes ice skating, a community Christmas tree lighting, and Kwanzaa celebrations. Both events are held annually and contribute to community cohesion and an improved sense of neighborhood safety.
