The Illinois Answers Project is an investigations- and solutions-focused, nonprofit, nonpartisan news organization published by the Better Government Association (BGA). Since launching in November 2022, it has become a Pulitzer Prize-winning newsroom that has galvanized the public and policymakers with evidence-based solutions journalism derived from data-intensive analysis. This critical work is achieved through partnerships, including an innovative initiative that provides investigative reporters and resources to newsrooms statewide.
