Throughout its history, AEI has sought to foster intellectual engagement across differing perspectives, believing that robust and civil discourse contributes to better public policies and stronger democratic institutions. AEI’s community of scholars conducts rigorous, evidence-based research across a wide spectrum of policy areas – from economics to foreign affairs to domestic policies.
