Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center

Established in 2015, Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center is a free outpatient behavioral health center serving the West Side of Chicago against the opioid epidemic. Its mission is to deliver compassionate and comprehensive care to those who demonstrate the most need, such as homeless and formerly incarcerated individuals. The Center offers behavioral health counseling, therapy, treatment, and peer mentors to help patients recover from trauma-related substance abuse. It also offers life-changing services like housing, employment, and food pantry programs. This award for general operating support will aid Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center as it expands its reach to individuals in need of substance abuse programming, life skills, and other forms of assistance.
