Live on Facebook: Jahmal Cole of My Block, My Hood, My City (M3)

October 17, 2017

11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Live on the MacArthur Foundation's Facebook page, Jahmal Cole, founder of My Block, My Hood, My City (M3), will talk about his work at the Chicago nonprofit that is expanding the horizons of Chicago youths through explorations across Chicago and beyond.

Recently featured in our Chicago Stories series, M3 takes teenagers from underserved Chicago communities to museums, restaurants, and businesses. By exposing youth to different cultures, careers, and people outside their neighborhood, the program shows teens all that is available and accessible to them—that their worlds do not have to be limited by economics or other challenges they may have faced in their young lives.
