Strategies for Managing Prison Health Care Spending Webcast

Hosted by the National Governors Association, in partnership with the Pew Charitable Trusts, the webcast will feature a panel discussion among state representatives and national experts on strategies states can adopt to mitigate the rising costs of prison health care. The webcast will address implications for state corrections systems under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, use of telemedicine, outsourcing of services as a cost-reduction measure, and geriatric care. Panelists include:
