In close collaboration with the Foundation President, Managing Directors for Programs, and existing program staff, Michael identifies and researches new areas of work and develops new relationships and partnerships to advance the goals for the Foundation.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Michael was Assistant Director of Administration at University of Chicago’s Office of Civic Engagement & External Affairs, where he supported the Associate Vice President, Chief of Staff’s operational portfolio as well as the development and implementation of emerging external priorities and partnerships. He also helped establish functions that enhanced institutional approaches to new multi-sector strategic engagement. He has broad experience in similar capacities across the public, private, and social sectors.
Michael has a MPP and a BA in Philosophy and Classical Studies, each from University of Chicago.
