Maggie provides legal counsel and operational support to the Foundation’s staff, management, and Board of Directors, assisting with a variety of legal, grants management, and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Maggie was an Associate Attorney at Ropes & Gray LLP, where she practiced in the Tax, Employment, and Benefits group, primarily providing tax counsel to tax-exempt organizations and private equity funds. Before going to law school, she started her career at a large private foundation in Kentucky.
Maggie obtained her Juris Doctor at Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law, where she graduated with honors. She completed her undergraduate education at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.
