Leah Y. Castleberry

Leah works with the Technology in the Public Interest team, which seeks to advance equity, justice, and democracy by strengthening an ecosystem of people, organizations, and networks examining and addressing the social impacts of technology.

Prior to joining MacArthur, Leah served as Technical Program Manager for Product on Meta’s Civil Rights Team, where she drove initiatives to incorporate civil rights considerations into product development processes. Before her tenure at Meta, Leah was the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Technology Fellow in partnership with Google, serving in the Office of Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke and the U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Women’s Business Ownership. With a background in technology and consulting, Leah previously worked as a Senior Consultant with IBM Global Business Services’ Watson Cognitive and Analytics division.

Leah holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Howard University and a Master of Public Policy from The University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy.
