Karen develops and strengthens relationships with existing donors, prospects, wealth and philanthropic advisors, and other relevant intermediaries. She also ensures that donor strategies connect donors to funding opportunities that achieve positive social change aligned with the donor’s vision.
Prior to joining Lever for Change, Karen was the Principal and Founder of KLB Advisory Services, after serving as the Home Region Program Director at the Walton Family Foundation. She has also worked as a senior research and evaluation officer and served in leadership roles within local government.
Karen received her masters in public policy from the University of California at Berkeley and her undergraduate degree in communications and economics from Northwestern University.
