Elizabeth (Liz) supports all aspects of the Foundation’s evaluation activities. In collaboration with program teams, leadership, and external partners, she leads and facilitates evaluation design, implementation, and reporting. She also provides technical assistance to program teams.

Before joining the Foundation, Liz was Senior Manager of Applied Research and Analysis at All Chicago Making Homelessness History, where she led research activities on programs, housing interventions, and initiatives such as the Student Emergency Fund, rapid re-housing, and the Ending Veteran Homelessness Initiative. Prior to All Chicago, she was an Associate Policy Analyst with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, where she helped developed strategy papers on reinvestment and infill, tax policy and land use, and housing choice, and managed a scenario planning project about the Chicago region’s potential futures. Before coming to Chicago, Liz was a Research Associate with the Urban Institute’s Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center.

Liz has a master’s in regional planning from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Community Health from Tufts University.

Liz is an advisory board member for the Refugee Center Online, an online resource for refugees and asylees who have resettled in the United States; previously, she sat on the Board of Directors for six years. She also volunteers with RefugeeOne.
