Doug manages several specialized grants processes at the Foundation, including Fellows and expedited grants. As a client specialist, Doug plays an important customer service role with both external and internal audiences, fielding inquiries about grantmaking processes and strategies. He is also the Grants Management department’s lead trainer and provides support to programmatic and functional teams across the Foundation.
Before joining the Foundation, Doug worked with refugee populations at the United States Catholic Conference in Miami, FL.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University, a Master of Arts in Sociology from DePaul University and a Master of Science in Public Service from DePaul University.
