Daniel Dirnberger

Dan manages the HR Operations of the Foundation including benefits, compensation, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and compliance. He is responsible for the benefit plans at the Foundation including plan design, vendor relations, broker management, and day to day administration. His duties also include the design, development, and implementation of our compensation program including the yearly compensation process for staff, executive compensation, and investment incentive compensation. Dan is the HR administrator for the Workday enterprise system and manages the Human Capital, Recruitment, Learning, and Absence modules in Workday. He is also responsible for compliance reporting including ACA, EEO, and OSHA. He is a member of the intranet working group, retirement plan committee, and benefits committee.

Previously, Dan worked at the Archdiocese of Chicago as an HR Generalist responsible for a variety of functions including HRIS, benefits, compensation, compliance and employee relations. Before that, he was an HR Representative at the Chicago Board of Trade.

Dan holds a Master of Arts Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and is certified as a Senior Human Resources Professional by the Human Capital Institute (SPHR) and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP).
