Senior Communications Officer
Meredith oversees communications for the Foundation’s grantmaking in justice reform, policy research, community and economic development, human rights and international justice, migration, girls’ secondary education in developing countries, and population and reproductive health.
Prior to joining MacArthur, Meredith served as Assistant Director of Communications for the University of Chicago Medical Center and Biological Sciences, where she helped to lead external, internal, and executive communications. She spent several years each at Edelman and Fleishman-Hillard, both global communications firms, working with a range of healthcare, nonprofit, and corporate clients on crisis communications, issues management, and day-to-day public relations. Meredith serves on the Board of Trustees for The Communications Network, which supports foundations and nonprofits to improve lives through the power of smart communications.
