Liliane Loya is the Deputy Director at the Foundation’s Mexico Office, where she works in the two programs that operate in Mexico: Human Rights and Justice, and Population and Reproductive Health.
Liliane has worked in the areas of regional migration, development, and human rights. Her professional experience includes work with government, the UN system, and civil society organizations in Mexico and the United States, including Sin Fronteras, a leading migration advocacy organization in Mexico. Before joining the Foundation, Liliane worked as Labor Affairs Attaché at the Mexican Embassy in Ottawa, overseeing implementation of the Canada-Mexico Seasonal Agricultural Workers Program. Liliane holds a MA degree in Social Change and Development from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies, and a BA in International Relations from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
